PC Charge SSL Certificate

Install the certificate from Here 

Next Double click on the Zip File and Install the Certificate

Just click Next through to the Finish button

Next is to copy the Certificate to the other store in windows.    This has to be done for every computer that will be talking to PC Charge, Including the computer that has PC Charge On it.

Next go to Start > Run > type MMC Press enter.    Windows vista /7 type MMC in the search box OR (Hot-Key Windows Flag + R works for all versions of windows) answer YES to any boxes the popup asking if it is ok to run MMC applies to windows vista / 7 only

Next In the Console window that popped up click on File > Add/Remove snap-in … 

Now in the add or remove snap-ins window Click on Certificates  then click ADD > in the middle of the window. Now in the Certificates snap-in window that popped up click finish.

You will now be back to add or remove snap-ins window, Certificates should still be highlighted.

Now click on the ADD> button but this time clicking on the Computer account button,  Then Next > Do Not changing any other settings in the next window that popped up click Finish.

You will now be back to the add or remove snap-ins window and on the Right you will see Certificates – Current User and Certificates (Local Computer)

Now Click OK

Now you will see Certificates – Current User and Certificates (Local Computer) side by side in 2 Panels                  

The next few steps you will be working in the left side ONLY.

Next double click on the Certificates – Current User > Personal > Certificates

Now in the Right panel  Right click on PCChargeDefaultCertificate-CA  select copy.

Now back in the Left panel at the bottom double click on Certificates (Local Computer) > Personal >  Now Right click in the panel to the right and Select paste.  If you do not see paste you need to repeat the above steps to copy the Certificate to the other store

 

Again this process has to be done for EVERY station that will be processing credit cards.

 

Next open up PC Charge from the System Tray Icon.  (If it is not there then PC Charge is not running. Click on the pc charge Icon in the programs menu to start it.)

 

Log in with the SYSTEM or MANAGER account In PC Charge

At the top click on Setup > Configure System > Advanced > Configure IP settings 

Next Uncheck enable Standard TCP/IP configuration and Check enable secure TCP/IP configuration. Click on the dropdown for store Location and select Local Machine  Then click on Store Name drop down and select MY. Now Click Display Store And Click on the PCChargeDefault From the list. Leave the default port that is listed, And click apply

 

Click File (at top Left)> logoff and minimize.

 

 

Next go in to Artisan > System Administration > Configuration Settings > Business & Financial Settings >
Payment & Tender Settings > Payment Processing Settings         (this station)

Next change processing method to (4) PCCharge Payment Server 5.9.1 or later (by Verifone)

Change server name or IP address to the computer that has PC Charge.  If this is the only computer or the computer that has PC Charge on it,   Leave set to localhost.

Fill in the account number from the bottom of PC Charge, and also the 4 digit processor abbreviation.

User Name can be left as is, if more than one station Each station will need its own user name, i.e. User2

This does require additional user Licenses from VeriFone. 

 

Repeat The above steps on Each station that will be processing credit cards.
