TSC - BUTTON COMMANDS

POWER ON UTILITIES  - ONLY USE THESE COMMANDS IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING.

                1. Ribbon Sensor Calibration and Gap/black mark sensor calibration

§  Turn off the power. Press and hold the FEED button

§  Then turn on printer power.

§  Release the button when LED becomes RED with blinking

§  ACTION: Printer will feed label and calibrate the sensor

                2. Self-test and dump mode

§  Turn off the power. Press and hold the FEED button

§  Then turn on printer power.

§  Release the button when LED becomes AMBER with blinking

§  ACTION: Printer will print self-test information then enter the dump mode. Feeds some blank and some info on labels.

                3. Printer initialization

§  Turn off the power. Press and hold the FEED button

§  Then turn on printer power.

§  Release the button when LED becomes GREEN with blinking.

§  Printer will restore settings to default.

§  ACTION: Does not feed labels.

                4. Set black mark sensor as media sensor and calibrate the black mark sensor.

§  Turn off the power. Press and hold the FEED button

§  Then turn on printer power.

§  Release he button when LED becomes GREEN/AMBER with blinking.

§  Printer will calibrate the black mark sensor

§  ACTION: Printer feeds blank labels

                5. Set gap sensor as media sensor and calibrate the gap sensor

§  Turn off the power. Press and hold the FEED button

§  Then turn on printer power

§  Release the button when LED becomes RED/AMBER with blinking

§  ACTION: Print feeds blank labels

6. Skip AUTO.BAS

§  Turn off the power. Press and hold the FEED button

§  Then turn on printer power.

§  Release the FEED button when LED becomes solid GREEN

§  ACTION: Printer won't move
